This is the scale I'm thinking for the habitat on mars. @Elon. For mars use metal.

@Jeff what do you think about testing the design in sea lab? For earth use glass.

This first one is for the artificial atmosphere. 

I'm thinking that the upper part of the rocket could flip up and the canopy is put up like bubble wrap over the planets surface to hold oxygen there from plants that we take there. 

I showed Elon the unfolding barn idea the other day on twitter. 

Where the barn is a half capsule that unfolds on the surface and is planted on the ground on landing.

This was just me riffing on what it might be like to live inside a capsule it unfold so that there are two habitats inside each cargo container.

I was thinking this could be constructed piece by piece in space or from a mold for the frame.

inside there are about 6 levels inside each if we could get each mold the size of a shopping mall that'd be steallar!

the floor is kinda wonky with the way I did it but I tried to create multi levels with the strongest structure I could think of.

What if we build this for chickens underwater to see if they can survive with robots cleaning them for 25 years? that' way we know that there won't be any leaks on mars and we can get back if we need to. 

Elon if you work with Jeff that doubles the budget!

Jeff I saw your rocket and you advanced my concept to what I was thinking Elon got it working right but would you be able to get that off the ground it looks really heavy at the base, is that going to be able to get off the planet? Also there's a new lighter idea for the landing gear I shared with Elon, it was to make the legs as long as the rocket, that way it stabilizes at the base of the rocket, with a wider base, the heavy base, I can see would keep it weighted to the ground. bingo, but we have to carry water and fuel too. 

Also asked Jess in my imagination what the moon would be like she said cold, so I was thinking maybe take electric heated sleeping bags that hook into the solar. =)
