bit the bullet and gave up trying to do zbrush in blender lol back to the program I love, blender's pretty great too but so is zed brush lol brits xD anyway, I think this feels like canyon scale but I've never been to the grand canyon in person just guessing based on photos, does this feel right random internet ppl that might find this one day if I"m still alive I get no views lol. xD xD xD any went this tiny terrain would feel bigger and more like a terrain if I shunk the kids, 80's movies for the millenials. lol xD xD xD you'll probably never feel real special efx ever again mwhahahahah, crypt keeper usa up all night xD xD xD anyway tv was epic in the 80's yall just don't know. just wondering if this is tall enough to ppl who've actually been that far west. I did this instead of grey boxing to save myself a massive over haul it's rock it was free epic content. I have a wall. it works. tbh if I was at a studio working on maps, which would be epic, hopefully the guy working on maps has level art to work with cause it's two disciplines tbh, knowing how to model is good, I'm not saying it isn't but if you want to be an environment artist practice sculpting rocks and buidlings, level design make levels, they cross over if your on a small team but the dream is to make some potato chips in life, and the easiest way is by finding work at sony or microsoft or blizzRAD lol etc, I mean it's fine if you might make the next indie hit, but that route is more often years of starvation a ton of pratice and a lot of marketing and you just create gold with every progrmming decision. this has been my hobby for 20 years, I work on something daily, I just have no idea what colors to make anything tbh, I don't really dream anymore. it's all darkness or nightmares when I do dream. I don't sit around for hours playing hob I'd love to, I've gotten stuck in like evey 3d game ever, i'm a nes generation, getting the hang of the thumbsticks took like 20 years and wasd is the only way to play an fps. lol golden eye was me zoomed in on a corner of the ceiling stuck in the corner of the map, but a gamepad is the only way to play with a sword imo lol, zelda fan boy. anyway, not much yet, except working on the scale atm, I was following a tutorial but for whatever reason when I indexed my blueprints it' broke. and then I went it's cool and all but tbh, I drank enough coffee to go we might not need rocket fule, not joking, but I kinda wanna do my own blueprints anyway cause tbh, the only reason I wasn't able to get the code working programming is I was blind as a bad, I can barely see commas and lininig up parenthesis seemed redundant but it's all obsolete now with blueprint's basiclly, and honestly I think borderlands problems isnt' thier fault completley they tried, and it might be that the tick on the gameplay actors is hanging around in memory and no one knew and that's tanking the scale they went' at. kudos for trying. level streaming is brand new to us basically. took me a bit to figure it out but there are two nodes in blueprints unload level and unload stream level. That's night and day, i"m sure they both have some paper thesis somewhere but unload stream level hides the visibility I think unload level might unload it from memeory idk it's complex, it's c+ you have to collect your own garbage in unreal from what I read, but I"m wondering if the tick functions weren't being turned off on all the bad guys' I see dude overload that when Zach said don't do that'. use timers. the cpus as fast as computer are now, are still computers, they need liquid cooling on the graphics cards too. I almost fried mine playing with nanite. in 30 mins my core temp was hot to the case lol I burned my foot. xD xD xD jk, but it was too hot for to touch, and I have liquid cooling, or my computer would be a poptart toaster. TBH liquid cooling is the best thing so far if I could get arctic ice like sub zero nitrogen or frozen waste ozone desert night air acid lol the cooler the better, I have no idea how elon's keeping the mainframe cooled, tbh I'd love to play with that lol. XD oh saw some kid make a hover bike with a 3d printer and magnet's it's just backwards, that magnet hang out on the fridge alll night like you come down for a poptart in the morning and fridge magnet like how many pullups you do wimp, passin out to gravity lol magnets are stronger than gravity, my dad showed me one as a kid, he put two nails in a board 4 dcell batterys wrapped a wire around a screw and it felt like holding a light saber, and I broke his watch. miss him so much. but I think like serious if they can pick up a car in a junk yard, I know I' could get that off the ground with a 6000v battery lol. like not even joking dude did it just backwards, flip that the other way, ik the pieces fit.
